Constipation with no known organic cause, no medical explanation, females are more often affected than males.



Constipation can be caused or exacerbated by a low fiber diet, low liquid intake, decreased physical activity, side effects of medications or dieting. The best way of adding fiber to the diet is increasing the quantity of fruits and vegetables that are eaten. This means a minimum of five servings of fruits or vegetables every day, such as kiwi, dry plums, blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, blackberries, cherries, guava, orange, pear, grapes, papaya, sweet potato etc.

Remedies for Constipation

Here are a few tips Relief for Constipation and get rid of constipation:
Take every morning with empty stomach 1 glass of warm water with 2 tbsp of ispghol husk or Psyllium husk.
Take every night 1 glass of hot milk with 1 tbsp of olive oil, remember don’t eat anything after this remedy.
Take every night 1 glass of warm milk with 1 pinch of turmeric powder and 2 pieces of figs.
Take every night before bed time, 1 glass of warm milk mixed with 1 tbsp of milk of magnesia.
